Nothing new, but I think it's the best mainstream media article I've ever read about Northern Soul. JUst one mention to the Casino and none of Footsee, holdalls and stuff

It's interesting the thing he says about americans realising the prices and the difficulty of finding bargains...

Edit: just saw it was on Record Collector, so it's not thaat mainstream. Early- mid 90s? It's still good, though...

Perhaps because one was sold around the time for £700 . Pitching it at £1K maybe made the buyer think he'd got a bargain and had not been lead by the nose?
