Can't remember who that first one is by Chalky but it is another version of Four Tops 'Loves Like Fire'.

I know Cliff Camfield used to have it because I had it on a tape from him years ago.

The next one is The Marteniques on MeO (but you knew that already).

No idea about the third one.

Just checked my notes and the "He Won't Stay" is definately unknown artist - Mirasound acetate.

Answers only so far for two others so plenty to identify :)

the name must have been "made up" by whoever played it out. Andy Dyson had the acetate few years ago, it had no name on it just the title.

I'm tired (why can't I cry)

Posted info:

who what and on what :-)

this is on a kent impressions ABC rarities CD as "Emotions (won't let me cry)" with Curtis singing lead, this recording sounds like Jerry Butler. If it isn't a released track maybe it is a Jerry Butler acetate.

Tommy Andre - Hold Back The Tears - Broadway mispressed demo

Seb might know summat about this one, his name comes up in the tag????

The identity of the singer for this tune has never been confirmed. Sounds a bit like King Coleman to me, but "mispressed Tommy Andre 'One More Try' on BROADWAY" is what I call it... rolleyes.gif The real "One More Try" tune by Tommy Andre sounds NOTHING like this.
