Chalky Posted June 6, 2005 Posted June 6, 2005 Came out twice. Once on Redd Coach and again on Delite on the flip of I Saw You There. The Delite copy would probably be in excess of 2k and the Redd Coach in the region of 5/600 IMHO. Good luck

Guest Posted June 6, 2005 Posted June 6, 2005 You do know it Kenny...Kitch used to play this a fair bit at one time. link He has played it most times I have heard him so seems he still plays it.
Guest Posted June 6, 2005 Posted June 6, 2005 I've been trying to get a copy of it to master from for a compilation CD for sometime. Been very difficult so far....
Guest Posted June 6, 2005 Posted June 6, 2005 There has been a few copies on Redd Coach for sale in recent times, perhaps not in top condition, but still.
Guest cC B Posted June 7, 2005 Posted June 7, 2005 I personally think this song is wonderful. But then again I like slow stuff without "forward momentum" Cheers, Christian B
Driveller Posted June 7, 2005 Posted June 7, 2005 I personally think this song is wonderful. But then again I like slow stuff without "forward momentum" Cheers, Christian B link ********* For what it's worth, I've always preferred "Keep Away" to "I Saw You There". In fact to me it's a huge bonus that you can buy it in a form that doesn't necessitate shelling out the extra for the fast side! Incidentally, I've always thought the writer must have been really pissed off with his missus or something when he wrote it, because both sides are absolutely steaming rants about girls stitching you up. As a bit of background info, Ion used to play this regularly in the mid-80s. All the best, Nick
Guest Posted June 7, 2005 Posted June 7, 2005 You do know it Kenny...Kitch used to play this a fair bit at one time. link oh!i have heard it allright, but whats the use of finding out what something is,when you know because who is playing it,it will be out of my range pricewise,i like buying records myself, but wont wast my time finding out about records i will never be able to afford...ie;i`m looking in sales box and everything is £500+i get bord very easly, and dont want to know anymore....
Guest Posted June 7, 2005 Posted June 7, 2005 Don't get me wrong, I think it is a nice soul record, it just seems to be something of a floorkiller. I personally don't like "I Saw You There", doesn't appeal to me at all to be honest, so I guess I too prefer the slow side if I have to choose.

Both side were written by B. Moore & G(ene) Redd. Somebody told me they were (maybe in part) The Carstairs. Andy Rix said he had spoken with a memeber of the Appointments and they weren't, though bits do sound alike to me!
Guest Posted June 7, 2005 Posted June 7, 2005 Are Redd Coach and Red Coach the same label? I presume it is, but why the name change? Anyone know?
Guest Posted June 9, 2005 Posted June 9, 2005 Well im happy to have it ripped to my computer for my enjoyment
Guest Byrney Posted June 9, 2005 Posted June 9, 2005 ********* For what it's worth, I've always preferred "Keep Away" to "I Saw You There". Nick link Same here, I absolutely love this record, the harmonies are just superb
