May 6, 200916 yr This was an old Twisted Wheel play. Originally released in the UK on London, and later on Liberty. A classic from the real early days of the scene. Not everyone's cup of tea but I think its great. For some odd reason I always think of Gerry and the Pacemakers 'You'll never walk alone' whenever anyone mentions or plays this record - dont ask me why - there's obviously a deep rooted significance somewhere in my grey matter - maybe I need psycho-analysis to get to the bottom of it Take care, John.
May 6, 200916 yr Author Cheers Guys I bought a Fats LP about 25 years ago with it on love that New Orleans sound got me into Lee Dorsey and Alan Tousant makes a nice change .
May 6, 200916 yr Always think of Bub when I hear this, he always played it at the All dayers at the Winter Gardens this just sums up that time and place in one go.Still love the record to this day

" IKR " was played at the David's ( Bub ) Funeral , when we left the church . A very atmospheric record , which like you say Miff , sums up a time and a place . https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zNb-dEb6yNM Malc Burton Edited May 6, 200916 yr by Malc Burton
