I have just received this text message from the management team of The Final Whistle: "We’re reaching out with important news regarding your upcoming booking at The Final Whistle. Unfortunately, we have been forced into a situation that means we have to close our doors trading as The Final Whistle. Our final day of operation will be 26/04/2025. As a result, we will be unable to host any scheduled events or reservations beyond this date. We understand how disappointing this may be, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. If you have a booking with us, please contact dave@selbytown.co.uk or message Selby Town FC Facebook page and they will respond in due course. We are incredibly grateful for your support and for considering us as a venue for your special occasion. Thank you for being a part of our journey." As you can imagine, we are gutted to hear the sad news. We, as a collective will consider what alternatives we have and let people know how the issue might be addressed.
