The Blue Cat Rhythm And Soul Clubs 1st Anniversary Event

We're thrilled to share the exciting news that our next edition of "The Blue Cat, Rhythm and Soul Club" is just around the corner, and it will be a special one! We invite you to celebrate our first Anniversary at a new venue for us, the Southport Coaster (upstairs), on Sunday 22nd September. Doors open from 2.00 pm through 10.00 pm.

There is a £2.00 charge at the door to gain entry, but trust us, it will be worth every penny. With an impressive line-up of DJs, fantastic bar prices, and a spacious dance floor, this event promises to be a night to remember.

We are delighted to introduce our first guest DJ, Phil Laing, the mastermind of the famous "Juke Joint" event at The Jacaranda in Liverpool city centre. Joining him is the legendary Vance Butterworth from the Bolton Spitfire Club. These talented guest DJs will join our fantastic team of resident DJs to provide an unforgettable musical experience.

It's important to remember this is NOT a Northern Soul event. It's a mix of gritty Rhythm and Blues, 60s Soul, Latin/Boogaloo, and a touch of Blue Beat Ska. Our DJs are set to deliver a diverse and impressive musical journey that will leave you wanting more!
