pjsoulgirl 105 Posted October 18 For this year's anniversary, as October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month we would like to make our donation to Breast Cancer Now charity. Breast Cancer awareness has been celebrated every October since the nineties. It is called 'Pink October' as people around the world adopt the pink colour and display a pink ribbon to raise awareness about breast health 🩷 Please feel free to "wear it pink" , there won't be a full on raffle but we will have donation tins available for you to give a few pounds for us to pass on to the charity to help with their fight against this "too" common cancer. Give what you can 🩷 to everyone who knows someone, to everyone fighting this now, and to those who have lost their lives, we are thinking of you all 🩷 Dj times for Grosvenor rooms this Saturday 7.30- 8.30 Rob Yates 8.30- 9.00 Gaz Shooter 9.00- 10.00 Hitsville Chalky 10.00- 10.30 Gaz Shooter 10.30- 11.30 Ted Massey 11.30 - End Gaz Shooter 1
pjsoulgirl 105 Posted October 20 Wow what a truly amazing emotional night. 16 years and you still love it Over 300 packed out the 2 rooms. Thanks to both guest DJs Ted Massey & Hitsville Chalky for their 1st class sets and to our resident DJs in both rooms who always keep the buzz turned up and the tunes flowing, Gaz Shooter, Rob Yates & Doug Hall Special thank you to Julie Kim Shore Cornthwaite who supplied a massive amount of the raffle prizes and for all her support (and shares) on Facebook. Thanks to all the Grosvenor Rooms bar staff who managed under the extra pressure. Thank you to Clare Shooter who helped with the setting up and the raffle with Lynn Pustelnik. Thanks to Steve Hinds for taking the photos. And the biggest thanks goes to everyone who attended and made this one of our biggest nights ever. We had an amazing contribution to the Breast Cancer Now charity so another big thank you to everyone who showed their support, by donating raffle prizes, buying tickets, pink ribbons and also turning up in pink. We had the best night. And raised a whopping £441.41 🩷 1
