About The Event

Soul Brew's first event at The Harold Club in June was such a HUGE success - we couldn't have been more pleased with how things went. The support & feedback from everyone - both on the night & also on Facebook during the following days - was just phenomenal! It was so good to see lots of old friends plus plenty of new faces too. :thumbup::thumbup:

We're planning on sticking to the third Friday of every month to avoid clashing with other events locally - we would have loved to put on another event in July, but the room was already pre-booked for the 3rd Friday so we will all just have to be patient & wait until August!😭

The Harold's got it all - a warm welcome & fab, friendly atmosphere; great sound system; top-notch dance floor with absolutely no need for talc; bar prices at WMC rates; large car park & good transport links. (At the time of posting, buses 363 & 688 - both from stand 11 outside Jacob's Well - pass by The Harold). It's situated on the main road, with easy access from Chain Bar Roundabout & close to Low Moor train station. There's even a nice hotel (The Guide Post) less than 10 mins walk away for those who fancy making a weekend of it! 🙂

Our first event in June was very nearly a full house (we limit numbers to 120 max in order to make sure everyone has a seat & also a space on a not-too-crowded dance floor) so please be early to avoid disappointment.

Our guest DJ for August is Stephen Crawshaw (Cross Keys, Knaresborough).

Promises to be another scorcher.. 🔥 not just the decks and tunes.. the dance floor was on fire too. Roll on August- looking forward to hearing Steve Crawshaw’s set - not seen him spin the tunes before. 🎵🎶✊KOKO

I love playing tunes for my friends. Something different mixed in with the classics. 😀

Well - what can I say - we had another storming night at The Harold Club! I knew from all the comments that I'd seen on Facebook during the week that we were in for a busy night & my gut feelings were proved right - we almost had a full house again! I got there at about 7.30 - a full 30 minutes before we officially opened the doors at 8pm - & I found quite a few people already in & enjoying the music! 

Everyone seemed to have a really good night & we got plenty of great feedback from around the room. Thanks & well done to all the DJs for spinning the tunes & keeping the dance floor busy - you nailed it guys. :thumbup: :thumbup:

Hats off to the hard-working bar staff - they were rushed off their feet, but most of all - thanks to all those who came to support us last night - we couldn't do it without you. ❤️

Absolutely loved it.. The Harold Club is top notch for a soul night- great to get soul sessions going there again! Big shout out to Stephen Crawshaw for his set, our resident DJs and of course Kath and Chris for all their support- and of course our soulie crowd who make it what it is! 🎶🙌✊🎵🔥⭐️
