Soulsuzie54 1 Posted July 14 Morning everyone, well what can I say, last night we had a phone call from Peter Whittingham from Holy Trinity Community Centre informing us that the Comminity Centre itself is closing as of the 31st August, therefore this will be our last Soul Night. We are gutted as we have been running Trinity along with Gerard for 12 years plus now, the longest running Soul Event in Newcastle under Lyme, we are hoping to have an extension for the last one other than that everything is as normal for our July Event. Thanks for all of your support over the 12 years, some of you have been with us from the beginning. Dave and myself will not be looking to run any more events, however Dave will be DJing as and when he is asked, sorry to be the bearer of this sad news, we are truly gutted, KTF Sue, Sharpie and Gerard, we love you all xxx
Valiant55 202 Posted July 15 (edited) We have known sue and dave for a long time,to run a soul club for 12 years takes some doing, then to be told its the end of an era ,must be a massive blow, but they have given soulies some great nights, and made many friends,we are sure newcastle will not be the same, now daves decks have retired, and we are almost certain,no other club around castle will reach their milestone,, GOOD LUCK TO YOU BOTH Edited July 15 by Valiant55

It by saying we play rare rock and roll think he needs to go specsavers whilst the free hearing test is still available! See you all Saturday ktf Sharpie!

As I have said on many occasions the last Saturday of every month have been very special to me and Kay. Think we missed the first two and then I think you can count on one hand the nights we have missed. Apart from the fantastic music I think the friendliness of this venue has always been special. We have made many friends over the years and I would like to thank Sue, Dave and Gerard for all the top nights that you have given us. See you all Saturday Steve & Kay.
Jess 4 Posted July 26 Unbelievable that this Trinity Soul Club will be finishing soon, this is all due to the club closing So this is our second to last time here as we will be finishing on August 31st. However we still have tomorrow night and it's looking to be another fabulous night, with guest DJ Paul Hooton back behind the decks. So for one of the best nights around get to the Trinity Soul Club. Come early for the best seats, looking forward to seeing you all once again. Cheers Gerard
