Soul In The Valley

Change of venue (again) Sometimes in life people let you down with little thought or care of how it affects your plans and others involved. In our case we have been let down twice first by Bedwas Miners Hall and then, of all people by Trinity Church Hall Committee. Both took our deposits and entered into a fixed agreement with us, both reneged on what was by definition a contract. What do you do!!! You dust yourself down, get on with life and move on....In the words of Larry Williams "A Quitter Never Wins" Shappelles is just perfect and the irony is, it was our first choice after Bedwas dropped us in it but at that time the manager/person who takes the bookings was away for week and with tickets selling and hotel rooms being booked we couldn't take a chance on it not being available so we moved on to the church hall. Fortunately Sarah had the staff pencil the date in and when she returned yesterday the manager and date were both available so she signed the booking form and paid for the venue there and then. Shappelles is located just 200yds from 'Ye Old Royal Oak' so just the other side of the roundabout from Trinity Church Hall so the location hasn't really changed. We once again sincerely apologise for the confusion and inconvenience and of course we will refund any ticket sales with no quibble if this venue isn't what you expected. Here are the details....

We promise a fantastic evening of Northern Soul with big spins & current floor fillers from The Torch, the Wheel, the Catacombs & Wigan Casino, together with Edgy RnB and early 70's crossover.
