Unfortunately, after many years, we have decided to bring down the curtains on Crigg Soul Club. The next event on Friday 6 December will be the last one.

This has been a very difficult decision to make. Ian and I have deliberated long and hard about it. I have decided to give up DJing and Ian feels the Club would not be the same without one of its founders.

We have always run Crigg as a not for profit event and have donated profits to charities. Currently this is Bluebell Wood Childrens Charity. Our 2024 total donation will be revealed after the December event, and sadly, is looking to be less than previous yearly totals.

Finally, a big thank you to all those that have been involved with Crigg Soul Club over the years.

To all the resident DJ's: Pete, Steve, Phil, Ginger, Jools, Ian and above all to my founding partner of

six years Jim Hirst. It is fitting that Jim will be appearing at the finale on 6th December as a guest.

To all the guest DJ's, some of the country's finest, who have graced the Crigg decks.

To Helen on the door and to Michael who did much behind the scenes.

To the club committee, Trevor and the club staff who ensured that all the events ran smoothly.

Last but not least a big thanks to all of you who have supported Crigg over the many years. We hope to see you all on 6 December for a cracking finale.

The CRIGG SOUL CLUB 2024

A monthly Soul event playing original vinyl on the first Friday of every month held at Crigg Club, Crigglestone WMC, Wakefield. WF4 3EB. The event is held in the clubs 300 capacity function room with part tiered seating, a wood dancefloor, dedicated bar and plenty of onsite parking to the rear of the venue.
