Kilkhampton Northern Soul

Replacement event for the cancelled Penstowe Northern Soul event.

Thanks to our friends at Kilk Got Soul, specifically Lee Murray, we are delighted to announce a replacement event for our ill-fated Penstowe bash on 28th October. Details are:

Venue – The Grenville Rooms, Kilkhampton, EX23 9QT (literally 200m from the original venue)

Time – 5pm until 1am

Cost - £5 on the door (free to those who bought Penstowe tickets)

Bar – None, bring your own (Co-op down the road has a good choice far cheaper than pub prices)

Food – Will be available – more details later

Parking – Parking available on site, and nearby if necessary. Camper vans need to book in advance.

Two rooms:

Main room (Northern Soul) – Paul Riley, Emma Cox, Mark Davis, Gary Stax

Second room (Modern Soul, Funky R&B, Crossover) – Lee Murray, Caroline Dann, Jo March, Anita Clark

Please be aware that this venue is not as plush as Penstowe, being more akin to the village hall roots of Northern Soul. Having said that, the venue is fit for purpose, with an excellent dance floor in both rooms and an awesome line-up of DJs.
