Firstly, a HUGE thanks from all of us at Banbury Soul Club to those who attended our third event of 2023 in September. Its genuinely appreciated that people are still prepared to travel to our events. Thanks again.
Our fourth and final event of 2023 will be on Saturday 18th November, 7.30pm to 12.30am and promises to be something special.
Banbury Soul Club celebrates its 20th Anniversary.
And to celebrate that special occasion we have a special guest DJ, none other than the one and only Ted Massey.
Please note we have an additional hour for this celebration, and the event time for this Anniversary is 7.30pm to 12.30am.
The maestro Ted will be performing his magic from 22.30 – 23.30pm.
So please ensure you are there to hear his selection of tunes.
Those who have attended previously know the format for the evening.
For those that haven’t been before please make sure you come along and enjoy a superb soulful night’s entertainment for only £5.
Anyway, onto the night itself.
As always, the emphasis is on quality and enjoyment.
Charlie, Steve, Tom and Dave the resident DJ’s will be playing their own selections of danceable soul music to guarantee a brilliant night. And our Guest DJ Ted Massey is the icing on the cake.
Expect to hear sounds from the last 50 years covering all genres, tempos and styles.
In summary this will genuinely be a “something for everyone” evening.
Anyway, we all hope to see you all on Saturday 18th November, 7.30pm to 12.30am.
For those who have not been to the venue before the Banbury United Clubhouse has recently been refurbished, along with the free car park immediately outside the clubhouse.
With a raised stage, main wooden dancefloor and with seating and tables on both sides.
Another plus is its all on ground floor level with no stairs to contend with.
Hopefully this will give you an idea of the layout and how it’s ideally suited for a night of soul music.
Some people are still having difficulties finding The Banbury United Clubhouse location.
Unfortunately, Satnavs will only get you part of the way.
The only access to the club is by way of the Station Approach Road.
After turning into Station Approach the main railway station, train drop off point and taxi rank is immediately on the left.
You need to take the narrow roadway on the extreme right to find the Clubhouse and follow this road all the way to the ground.
The clubhouse is approx. 0.5 miles down this road.
Turn right into the Clubhouse car park which is well lit.
If you do get lost the taxi drivers are usually very helpful and will point you in the right direction.
Pay on the door is still only £5.00.
