Delighted that Michael & Nick are our guests on the night, it's been too long. Check out their event Can you dig it in Altrincham.  Expect to hear some great tunes on the night.

Before I get in to last night I just want to nail on the head that the Carlton club as far as we are aware isn't closing. The club is financially healthy, member owned hence not beholding to the mercies of a brewery  chain. I don't know where rumours start, maybe somebody read about the wilko in Nottingham closing! I do know from my career that gossip or conjecture is a dangerous thing, whether malicious or accidental. We all remain committed to the night, in fact it only took me minus 10 minutes to get home last night 😀 A bit like doc in back to the future 😆
Another great night last night, good to see some new faces and the stalwarts. Thank you all for dancing and some great requests. A big thanks to our guest DJs Nick McKinnon and Michael M Taylor for some great music. A real mix of tunes, some classics from james brown, soul brothers six, frankie Beverly, Barbara mcnair, voices of East Harlem. A couple of Michael and Nicks favourites were played being flowers for real and soul bros inc pyramid. Great stuff. A couple of tunes I didn't know where the fads and shades of brown,  great to here some different tunes alongside the well known classics. Take care everyone and see you next month.
