Bookings, via the Pontins Booking Office (Sand Bay), (open 9.30 am - 5.30 pm) Tel: 01934 428200 (local rate call) or

Pontins Main Booking Office (open 9.00am - 6.00.pm) Tel: 0333 3238 733 (premium rate 13p per min)

 Quote SOULWX as the event reference. Just pay your deposit to lock in the early bird price .

Early bird price is £160 per person this price is valid until 31st July 2023 .( £20 deposit per booking ) 

After that date the price per person is £175 .

The balance is due 2 months prior to event commencement.

Check out is on Monday morning after breakfast.

There is a retailers area open during the day and evening over the weekend .

There is also a record dealers area .

 

Music from 12 Midday until 3.00 am Friday and Saturday, Sunday - Music from 12 Midday until 12 Midnight.

    Another superb weekender, well done to Sarah, Dean, Frank, Rico, Gilly & Rebecca for all their hard work on getting the event up and running. Also to Paul and Don on sorting out the great sound systems. This event is so worth going to as you are surrounded by some great people, who always want to dance, listen and party! especially after the football on the Sunday! The Music was diverse and there was something for everyone, having three rooms meant that you could easily find something to your liking. The dance floors were great and the bar well run, as was the restaurant and accomodation, the staff being really helpful. We can't wait until next years event and if you haven't booked yet, be quick! We hope Dean gets well soon as he was missed with his great tunes and personality.

    I'm back down to reality after this weekender, and well what can I say about this event. There was a party of us who encamped in the main ballroom all weekend. That was for all sessions. Some of our party have been in the NS scene for some time and there comments flying about ' I haven't heard this record for a long time. Other comments were, what's this, it's new to me.

    The point I'm making is that the music was varied for all tastes and the DJs' mixed it up with their sets. I do not normally point any DJ out, but I must say the best sets, for me, over the weekend were from Luci Jones and Mark Sargeant. Their music was something special and a lot of the records they played were unknown to me.

    Whilst mentioning Luci, I spoke with her father and he told me that she has only been a DJ for 3 years, so I anticipate more to come. 

    The one noticeable factor, which unfortunately is life, there were very few younger Northern Soulers there. I know the promoters have booked the DJs for next year. But it maybe something to consider in booking some of the young and upcoming DJs for future events, to entice the younger Northern Soulers to want to attend this wonderful event.

    To conclude I would like to thank the promoters and all the DJs for making this weekend superb and long may it continue

    last years event was probably not the best weekend as i pointed out in my revue

    which i rated as a generous 3 , but being their  first i was hoping for a little more this year 

    well someone certainly took note , the music ( which is the main reason we are here ) was so 

    good almost niter style , (even TED played DAMON ) what a change from last years top 500 repetition

    this years attendees were more knowledgeable ,, so this year i will give it a big 4 and see if they can make 

    any more improvements and be a quality weekender for the future , maybe even a 5 like another Pontins  ( PRESTATYN )

    we greatly appreciate your review and as you can tell have taken on board yours and other comments on this event and ones that have come before  to try and improve our events not only at Sand bay but also at our other venues in Cinderford , Swansea , Dowtys and Newquay . Every comment is taken on board by us and we certainly hope to hit the 5 score and maybe more in the future :)
