We’re back for our second Boogaloo of the year and once again we have a fantastic lineup of guest DJ’s to the light the dance floor with!
First up we have Hutch (Iain McCabe) travelling all the way from bonny Scotland. Hutch co-runs the fairly new and already very successful Funky Castle all-dayer in Dundee and it’s a must visit. Along with his co-host Percy these lads travel the length of the country to find the kind of music that we also love and play at Boogaloo. Both of em are top lads and close friends and fantastic DJ’s too.
Next up we welcome back Boogaloo stalwarts Brian Maguire and Warren Cocker who have guested at our night more than any other DJ’s and if they’re not DJing then they are always there in attendance and supporting the night, so basically 2 of the team. They are both very much on the same musical wavelength as ourselves and have DJ'd at well respected nights such as Rhythm Soul & Funk Weekenders, Manchester Soul Weekender, Twisted Grooves, Go Go Children and Soul weekenders in Dublin and Prague.

Playing from genres such as Raw Funk, Funk Edged Soul, R&B, Garage Soul & Latin mostly from the mid 60s to the md 70s have helped The Boogaloo Revue become part of an exciting fresh emerging sub scene that blends the Deep Funk and Northern Soul scenes into one without being limited by either. attracting top similarly minded guest DJs from across the UK.
The night is £5 on the door, or via the ticket link and the venue is Poco loco, which is a small, friendly, family run venue that puts on many "alternative" DJ and band nights. It has a great bar with a great selection of drinks, which are reasonably priced and the venue itself is small and quirky with a really cool vibe about it.
