Stewartby Soul Night Nr Bedford Stewartby Beds

Can someone local please update on the current situation regarding FLOODING around Stewartby.
I can see the "old" A421 is not a problem and know it well.
However; Google live is showing Green Lane and Stewartby Way closed!
These would be my routes of choice to this Event.
If these routes are closed what other choices do I have ?

From the Beeb five minutes ago ...

"In Stewartby, High Street, Great Barford, Green Lane, are all still closed, along with Harrold, Oakley, Felmersham and Radwell bridges."

From FB , albeit from the 26th and it's rained hard since.

I’ve just set the sound system up.

Just Green Lane is closed, so use the other roads. There’s not a single puddle left in Stewartby! It’s dry!

I've just driven along the B530 & driven down Stewartby Way. IT'S NOT CLOSED! There's not even a puddle there!

A look back at Stewartby, Saturday 28th September 2024.

I honestly thought after all the scaremongering over the flooding over on the outskirts of Stewartby that no one would turn up, but how wrong was I.

Mr Tony Dellar was the special guest DJ for the night. A true professional behind the decks, it was an honour to have him back at Stewartby. Combine Tony with another professional, Carl Fortnum, and you know you're going to hear the best in dancefloor soul sounds. Unreleased acetates like Tammi Lynn, etc., one after the other. All requests got played.

A massive thankyou to all the lovely friends that continue to support the night x

The next night is the big 16th Anniversary on Saturday 30th November 2024. Guest DJs for the night are Joan Livesey & Steve Foran, backed by Carl Fortnum, Geoff Ware & myself.
