Color One Tear Black With Guest Dr B

Firstly, after a couple of blistering selections at Color One Tear Black in 2022, we are proud to announce that soul devotee JM has joined the COTB ranks as a resident selector. To mark the moment, JM has obligingly put together an ace new three-hour mix, which you can listen to here. 

COTB is back at The Paradise on Sunday 12th February, this time with the esteeemed Dr B as special guest. With a long history in the music, from helping to source Stateside vinyl for early record fairs back in the day, to frequent US buying trips, Dr B has a deep knowledge and serious history. Persuaded to dust-off his record box in 2015 for JM’s Soul Connoisseurs Collective at Brilliant Corners, Dr B has since become a regular fixture at Carib Soul, Doncaster Sunday Chill Out, and the Family Circle Stockholm Soul Weekender. We can’t wait.

Set up in February 2016 by Thierry Cochet, AKA Dr. Kruger (NTS), Color One Tear Black celebrates group harmony, sweet and deep soul music, all played on original issue 45s by resident DJs Dr Kruger, Claire Kalvis, Jim Edwards, David Hill, JM and monthly guests. The night runs on the second Sunday of each month at The Paradise, 19 Kilburn Lane, London. W10 4AE.
