SOUL AT THE RITZY is a regular, sociable fun loving across-the-board soul night held in a brilliant venue – the club room at the top of the iconic Ritzy cinema in Brixton, London, just minutes from the tube station.

Music policy is 60s/70s soul, OVO of course.

Mad March is just around the corner and we have an amazing line up for you. With the weather getting increasingly better the balcony is going to be beckoning. I’m betting the dance floor will win with the delights we have for you this month!

We have the effervescent Valentina Savio who you will have seen gliding around the dance floor at the Ritzy. I hear that DJs who dance are the best and Valentina is no exception. Her biog will be coming shortly.

Secondly we have the return of Shaun Arnold who kept the floor happy and busy last time he played for us. His biog is also incoming.

Finally we are extremely excited to welcome Kevin Fingier to our decks, still warm from his gig at the 100 Club this week. I was there and it was just incredible. Kevin will be gracing our decks all the way from Argentina. If you haven’t yet had a listen to Kevin’s singles and recent album then what are you waiting for?

Your hosts JAKE LINGWOOD, DONNA DRISCOLL, LISA HURLEY and DOUGIE LING make sure each night packs a punch – and we bring you 3 brilliant guests each month, as well as playing ourselves.

The sound system is top notch, and the venue has another ace up its sleeve – a large balcony overlooking Brixton’s Windrush Square.  It’s a brilliant venue and we’re thrilled/very lucky to have it.

Throughout 2022 the night got bigger and bigger – and we’re really excited to have booked up a whole calendar of events for 2023.

Regular Thursday nights run from 7pm until midnight and are FREE.  And this year we're really excited to have four Saturday night specials which will run 8pm-2am and will be ticketed.
