New Year Weekender @ The George Coaching Inn, Piercebridge

Friday 30th December & Saturday New Year’s Eve. 

The rooms at The George have all sold out.  There are however a good choice of hotels at Scotch Corner just a few miles away.  Harry will also be running a bus from Scotch Corner for every session, there and back.  8 Journeys over two days, 4 journeys if you jjst come for New Years Eve.

The hotel rooms are full but we area running a bus to and from Scotch Corner Travel Lodge, South Bound which is only a few miles away.

Pickup from Scotch Corner to The George 1pm / return 5pm. Evening Pickup 7pm return at the end of the evening.

Looks like being a good ‘un and popular with a great dj lineup , venue and hotel rooms already sold out (but alternatives available).   Understand hotel has been revamped and looks great on photos , including ballroom plus easy to access just off A1. 

Should be a  great weekend, some great memories from Piercebridge and a chance to dust off some 12s and album tracks from the modern side of the spectrum and a few classy 60s soul for good measure.

Not long to go now and quite a bit of interest in the event and a great way to see in the new year!!!

Just got off the phone with Harry and it sounds like we're in for  a busy one. The ultimate blend of classy underplayed 60s soul mixed in 70s/80s/90s soul music aimed firmly at the dancefloor.

Some great chill out sessions are planned for the afternoons on friday and saturday,so definitely a bit of something for everyone, what's not to like? 

The venue has undergone a refurb and looks the business , for what promises to be a memorable weekend!!

If you are still undecided about what you are dong to see the New Year in, there is still time to join us at The George Hotel Piercebridge. £30 for the full weekend pass, £15 for the one day. There are still hotels rooms at Scotch Corner at a decent rate and there will be transport back and forth to the venue.

Todays’ the day for two days and nights at the New Year Weekender @ The George Coaching Inn, Piercebridge. 
Starts 1pm for the chill out afternoon session, then Main Room from 6.45pm til 2am.
