About The Event
After a couple of months away for personal reasons The Harrogate Soul Lounge returns on Friday 27 at at St Roberts Club, Robert Street, Harrogate, HG1 1 HP. (400 yds from bus and train stations opposite Waitrose on StationParade).
A relaxed event with soul music of all persuasions - funk, modern, 70's crossover, classic R&B, soul hits and some northern. More underplayed before 10 and some great dancers afterwards. All tunes played on original vinyl (first contemporary national issue), maybe with an occasional second issue (eg 45 from an album) but definitely no boots.
Friendly atmosphere, and conivial lounge setting with dance floor.
