'Movin' On A Groove' Sunday Soul Chill-Out

Playing the best in soul music - all on vinyl with resident DJs and our guest DJ for the afternoon will be the very popular Sean Tasker.
Sean began his soul journey back in the 70’s at a local youth club in Northallerton, then progressed to dancing to the 3-4 “northern” that were played at a local disco… Cherry People, Free for all, Love you baby - Eddie Parker, etc. Eventually visiting Wigan for the first time in 1977, igniting a lifelong passion for great soul music.
Along the way, he attended The Oval Ball - York, The Blinking Owl - Boroughbridge, Annabella's - Harrogate, Manchester Ritz, Sheffield KGB, Morecambe Pier, and most of the big weekenders. Sean collects everything from 60’s oldies/rarities, 70’s moldies, Crossover, Deep soul, big beat ballads and he even owns a few house tracks.

Our event can be found at the Ivory Music Bar, 2 The Ginnel, Harrogate, HG1 2RB. The event runs on selected Sunday afternoons on a bi-monthly basis. Not only will you hear some great music played - all on vinyl, but you will also enjoy the fabulous selection of drinks on offer at this great venue.
