Jessie Pinkman 619 Posted April 21, 2022 Yorkshires finest Phil Dick as special guest DJ ,how good is that! So many mega rarities to choose from, this one from The Fascinators made the decks the last time I saw him play. 3
Eddiefoster 2,862 Posted April 21, 2022 Looking forwards to Phil doing his thang behind the Culcheth decks - as Bob says one of the finest collections around, megga rare oldies and underplayed gems expected 3
Bazm 1,059 Posted April 21, 2022 Phil was 'King of the Steams' during lock down playing everything from MONSTER oldies coupled with some MEGA rarites and quality underplayed tunes from his collection. Expect more of the same when he joins us at CULCHETH on the 7th 1

Jessie Pinkman 619 Posted April 23, 2022 Another oldie that's stood the test of time and slightly more affordable than Cheatin Kind is Eddie Carlton "It will be done" I know Simon's been hammering the flipside at Culcheth and elsewhere but I still love this side, especially the female backing singers that always reminds me of J.Leach "Put that woman down" 3
Jessie Pinkman 619 Posted April 24, 2022 WOW what a TUUUUUNE, I'm thinking Kim Tibbs will feature heavily in Pete Ratcliffes set. Absolutely wonderful modern soul. Take a listen. 2
Micksmix 2,559 Posted April 24, 2022 Current dance floor monster out and about in the North West and beyond !! 1
Bazm 1,059 Posted April 25, 2022 Here's a strange one, thought to be album only unless you check your Ronnie Dyson 45's and find this mis-press. Great track that's been a modern room 'staple' for years and one that'll be getting a spin on the '7th' 2
Micksmix 2,559 Posted May 1, 2022 Well just time to catch your breath from another busy bank holiday weekend,Sir Bob and Simon back from the excellent Keele Niter, definitely looking forward to tunes like this next weekend !! 1
Jessie Pinkman 619 Posted May 2, 2022 With all these previously unreleased records now finally finding a label to release them. Here's 1 that was highlighted on here that went down a storm with the dancers at Culcheth last month. The wonderful Kim Weston.

Here's 1 that was highlighted on here that went down a storm with the dancers at Culcheth last month. The wonderful Kim Weston. Here's another previously unreleased track that came out in 2013 but hasn't really been given the exposure it deserves. I'm pretty sure that this would have been massive back in the day, so why not now? Listen here for something new that's old & brilliant from The VIBRATIONS what more do we need.
Eddiefoster 2,862 Posted May 3, 2022 Ramping up towards the weekend - this went down well at Keele, I wasn't sure what to expect so maybe one for the decks on Saturday 3
Micksmix 2,559 Posted May 4, 2022 Phil has this I think/hope Possible spin from me,deffo got legs and on the way up!!
Jessie Pinkman 619 Posted May 4, 2022 Mick correct me if I'm wrong, but I seem to remember many years ago at Bury, when it was a Friday soul night, you played the J.J. Jackson cover up when it was still newly discovered and still a cover up and not letting on who it really was. I still love it and I'm pretty sure Simon will be spinning it this Saturday
