If you're the guy that requested this one, this is a reminder for me, it's now dusted off and back in the play box ready for the decks in April

A must for any Torch reunion I would say. Back then it sounded so different than most of the other brilliant records being played.

Now It sounds perfect for today's dancefloor. Rex Garvin ~ Queen of the go go.  what a tune.

Maybe time to dust this one down - not played it since lock down hit us and it was well received by the Culcheth faithful back then!

BOB - is it boring if I keep asking for the same record? 🤣 - especially ones you don't have!

Anything could happen on the night! - rummaging through the playbox and this one jumped out as something that was well received at Culcheth pre-lockdown

Sooo looking forwards to the next installment of Culcheth now - it's been a whirlwind few months and the scene seems to be kicking back into full pace again which is great to see!

Ted Massey is headlining in (as Mick Howard pointed out) part of his North of England Tour LOL - here's a sample of one of his latest sets to wet your appetites (and there are obviously plenty more where these came from )

Dewey Black - Takin Love Where I Can Find It
Joseph Webster - My Love Is So Strong
United Sounds - It’s All Over (Baby)
Sag War Fare - Don’t Be So Jive

Bob And Fred - I’ll Be On My Way
Camaro’s - We’re Not To Young
Chuck Holiday - Just Can’t Trust Nobody
Appointments - I Saw You There
Barbara King -What I Did In The Street (Gulfstream)
Salt And Pepper - A Man Of My Word
Aspirations -You Left Me
Pee Wee Shuck And Huey - Beside Myself
Tyrone (The Wonder Boy) - Please Consider Me
Imperial C’s - Someone Tell Her
Empires - You’re On Top Girl
Fortson & Scott - Sweet Lover
Classics - One Dance
Profs - Look At You
Patrinell Staten - Little Love Affair
Tiaras - Foolish Girl
Mello Souls - We Can Make It

I'm thinking that's buggered up my set but then my alarm woke me up.

That's a set of records for my fantasy land, WOW listening to them is wonderful but seeing them written down is something else, one after the other.

Even Teds shirts are rare & expensive as well. lol

Here's a twofer worthy of any Northern soul main room. the only problem is which side to play.

Mick mentioned earlier a record that isn't rare in monetary terms but priceless in the quality of the music. Here is another example

Melvin Hicks ~ Intruder ~ Kent Records, previously unreleased and played at the 100 club available now on a 7"and a certain spin at Culcheth
