Soul At The Grand Iv The Return

I cannot tell you how excited we are to be announcing our return to this iconic venue, The Grand Hotel, Weston Super Mare......our first 3 events were held here, and all sold out within weeks of ticket sales opening, sadly covid kicked in, the venue went into receivership and we relocated to the Tropicana, this worked well as we had more space to 'socially distance' when we were finally allowed to open the doors after lockdown, the general consensus has always been though that everyone missed The Grand Atlantic, with it's beautiful sprung dancefloor, so I did a little negotiating and we are back there, love love love it!

So come join myself and Ian Rossiter for yet another night of dancing and merriment, with the finest Northern Soul, R & B, Motown and Modern Soul.....we are tried and tested at keeping the dance floors full by spinning our vinyl in the Soul Rooms at Scooter Rallies nationwide including SWSC National rally at Woolacombe, Exmouth, Weston & Weymouth plus Hayling, Teignmouth, Warmwell, Run From The Scum, Scootermaniacs weekend, Modrapheniacs Rally, Northern Soul Island, Soul on the Sea, Moorland Mayhem, Halfway House, Run to the Riviera, Camber Sands, Celtic Rally (France), Ireland, Spain, and fabulous Las Vegas - yeah baby.........

Our first guest dj that we are announcing is the wonderful Trowbridge Matt! He has dj'd since the early 80's on the Northern Soul Scene, mostly in the south west, south coast , London and Wales. Venues include Yate, The Dome London, Bisley, Bridgwater, Grand Atlantic WSM, Porthcawl, Bournemouth, Southampton, Newquay, St Ives, Plymouth, Lakeside, Farnborough, Go Go Bristol, West Wilts Soul Club, Exmouth, Exeter, Taunton etc , he got into the music from 79 Mod revival, used to go to the Yate all nighters on his Vespa Primavera Scooter, then on his P200E he loves the scene and the people. Play across the board tunes, 60's, 70's Soul, R&B, Motown, Latin & funky edged, and is looking forward to spinning the wheels of steel with us!

Happy to announce the return of the wonderful Mark Davis who is a resident DJ at the Farnborough Soul Club and has also played at various different venues in the south east, including Ascot, Teddington, Hoodoo, Ryde Castle IOW and the infamous Wooden Bridge at Guildford, and the SWSC Woolacombe and Weston Rally Soul Room. who will again be wowing you with his fantastic vinyl! 

Shaun Robson will also be on the billing again ready to spin his fabulous tunes......So what can I tell you about this chap? Well to me he will always be affectionately known as 'Uncle Nobby'....he started djing many years ago on the CCI rallies in the early/mid nineties for our dear Tony Class, more recently you can find him spinning the vinyl at VCB events , Street Soul, Yeovil Soul Club, Brutons Got Soul and SWSC Woolacombe Rally soul room, he also played for us at the Grand before it closed and at our last Tropicana event.....a real crowd pleaser!
