Fantastic to see Culcheth back on the map again after the October false start and an opportunity to celebrate the 25th Anniversay of Lowton too!

Great job and big thanks to Baz Maleady - Pep & Soul Sam on the guest DJ list 👏

See you all there

Top Drawer Line up with two of the main stays on the rare soul scene from The Halcyon days Soul Sam and Pep. Can't wait to see the place after the refurb.

2022 is looking like a busy year for sure!!!

The first time I heard this beauty from Edwin Starr played out was here at Culcheth when Simon played it in one of his sets.

Will you be playing it again this time please Mr Ingham

On the subject of Simon, I'm sure he can be persuaded to give this floorpacker a spin too

A recent purchase that doesn't get much (if any) airtime - I'm hoping it might get a good reception from the Culcheth crowd if I drop the needle on it 🤞 I love to gamble LOL.

Baz tells me that Culcheth is firmly back on the map this year, with the first Saturday of every month booked throughout 2022 - great news, so keep your eyes open for the event announcements and DJ line-ups here on Soul Source (or follow Bazm to get notified when he posts).

I first heard Mick play this one many years ago at Bury and it has since become a massively in-demand floorfiller, and I'm pretty sure it will played on the night. Get ready for the stampede to the dancefloor!

Clarence Murray "Let's get on with it" a Culcheth anthem if ever there was one, ever since the move from Lowton Civic this record has been a favourite for DJ's Mick & Les and I'm sure it will be a popular choice for Lowton's 25th anniversary. WHOOSH to the dancefloor.

By the time this thread comes to an end all the records to be played, will have been played on this thread

So there will be no point in travelling from Blackpool to Warrington, anything good on TV ?
