Stanley Soul Club - Saturday 13th August 2022.

Well! what can I say but a real big thank you too everyone who travelled from near and far on a really hot evening to attend and support our soul event. It was good to see our regular supporters and soulies who came for the first time.

It was a brilliant night made all the better with our guest DJ Shaun Callon (Blackburn Oldies), (who stepped in last minute for Phil who was unwell), spinning his favourite tunes and floorfillers alongside our resident DJ's Graeme & Karen Bickerton and my wivey Joan Rimmer. A big thank you to Karen and Graeme for helping at the end of the evening.

A big thank you to our birthday soul sister Karen Bradshaw for helping on the door and I would thank everyone on behalf of Karen who brought her presents and cards as she celebrated her birthday at this event.

We look forward to seeing everyone again at our '1st Anniversary' Northern Soul & Motown event on Saturday 8th October when we'll be joined by our good friend Pete Everett (Sink & Other Places) as our guest DJ who will be playing his favourite dancers and floorfillers.

Again many thanks everyone for continuing to support our events at the only small soul venue in Burscough.
