Stanley Soul Club

Well what can I say. A few less than usual for our Soul & Motown event at The Stanley Soul Club this time but understandable with the start of holidays and other commitments. Hopefully you'll come back on June 11th for our next event at The Stanley (Burscough) when we'll have Pete Everett (Suzie Everett) as our special guest DJ.

It would be great to see more of our group page members come along and check out the event. Don't forget, if there is anything you would like to hear, then just leave a comment here and we'll try and cater for your requests.

We'd like to thank everyone for coming and supporting our event and it was good to see some new faces and our friends Jacko and Ronnie amongst them. We hope you enjoyed the evening and hopefully you'll all come along again. A big thank you to our regular supporters for continuing to support our events.

A big thank you to our guest DJ Tony Mundey (Ann Mundey) who played a blinder and kept the floor filled throughout and also to our resident DJ's Graeme Bickerton and Karen Bickerton who did a sterling job throughout the night playing to the floor.

A big thank to you both for helping to dismantle and pack away the equipment at the end of the evening, it's a real big help.
