CULCHETH SOUL NIGHTS ARE BACK

Soul Nights at the brilliant Culcheth Sports Club (AKA The Daten) are back.  The club has been fully refurbished during the pandemic lock-down and now features a brand new layout in the main room, which is now self-contained with its own bar, fantastic wall-to-wall dance floor, dimmed lighting and fantastic acoustics. Add to that the BazM sound system that lets you hear your favourite sounds in crystal-clear sound and it makes for a perfect dancers and listeners venue.  

CULCHETH is back for a one-off night for 2021, so don’t miss it…We are bringing you TWO ROOMS as part of this Special Event, billed as an OKTOBER SOUL FEST and it will be just that! We’ll be going back to the days of the Torch and Early Mecca in the main room with Special Guest COLIN CURTIS PLUS the DJ team that brought you LOWTON CIVIC HALL soul nights, CULCHETH and the BURY VIRTUAL ALL-NIGHTER SESSIONS will be spinning some of today’s BIGGEST dancefloor fillers.

The Modern Room will be showcasing the latest new soul releases on 45 vinyl, courtesy of PETE RATCLIFFE, So Soulful  70’s and more from STEVE PLUMB, Lowton Modern Room classics from BAZ MALEEDY and a special, look back at the real sounds from the last hour at the Mecca with COLIN CURTIS, a Modern Soul Fest GUARANTEED!

Yes BVAN inspired a lot of the lockdown purchases,some great records brought to peoples attention.Hopefully we can drop the needle on a few at Culcheth!!

As a bonus.  My mate Rob will be celebrating his 55th birthday .  Young whippersnapper. Can't think  of a better place or people to celebrate with.
