Mattbolton 178 Posted August 4, 2021 Apologies for a lack of news over the Aug 14th nighter; with everybody communicating on different platforms it’s been hard to deal with the many ticketing anomalies. The people who bought tickets for July had the option to keep them for August or get a refund; that is still possible if done in the next couple of days. We can’t hang them over for September as that is the anniversary and prices are different. We’re going to announce a ballot for that, as we expect to be overwhelmed and we want to make it fair. We’ll announce the procedure mid-August and give everyone a week or so to get their names in. Matt will run that one ( mattbolton4@hotmail.com ) as Ady will be on his hols. We’ve notified some on the waiting list for August about the returns but it may be worth emailing ady.croasdell@btinternet.comagain, just in case. Although there are no legal requirements regarding the event, the 100 Club have shared their own guidance as shown above. We’re sure for many this will be an overwhelming time and although we’ve always been a tactile bunch, please be sure to ask before piling on - we’re all dealing with it in different ways. Wear a mask if you wish. It’s entirely up to you. Fist bump, hug, whatever you feel comfortable with. Just make sure it’s mutual. All we ask is that you are free from any symptoms and, if you can, take a simple test before you set off. We’ll trust you to do what’s right. Can’t wait to see you all. Get to steppin’ A&M 1

Mattbolton 178 Posted August 11, 2021 We’re sorry to give you more bad news in this year of headaches, but we found out yesterday that Westminster licensing authorities have refused our Temporary Events Notice application. That is the license we need to run the all-nighters. The club has been up to its eyes in problems and was challenging the refusal, only to find out that Westminster are not issuing these licences to anybody at the moment, due to Coronavirus uncertainties. Oddly Camden who are virtually next door are! This should be temporary but even the September all nightery is at risk, we will apply and find out as soon as we can. We’ve been trying to set up an after-dance party venue for the people who were planning on dancing until 6am but have been hitting brick walls. Still trying, but it’s not looking hopeful. Therefore, at the moment we have decided to run the event as an evening dance from 9pm - 3am. It will feature the same DJs – Butch, Keith, Ady and Arthur Fenn are still expected to attend. We’ve waited so long to get back to our soulful basement that we felt we must carry on, even at reduced hours, it’s been too damned long and there have been too many disappointments to miss out again; we hope you agree. Admission will be £10, we will refund the extra £6 on the door if you have booked tickets for the nighter. There are now no ticket restrictions, so anyone can turn up on the night, we estimate the club will be at a manageable attendance level. If you can’t make it now, we will refund tickets but please bear with us, as this may take a while, the logistics have been a nightmare. Please email Matt about refunds as I’ll be away on hols from Sunday. mattbolton4@hotmail.com Thanks and many apologies Ady & Matt
