Newquay Soul Weekender 2021

The Newquay soul weekender is back!

Soul On Wax present,

A fabulous weekend featuring across the board soul music at the Legacy Hotel Victoria in wonderful Newquay, Cornwall.

This weekender offers you a more chilled out vibe than our sister event. The Soul On Wax team takes over the delightful Legacy Victoria Hotel for a full weekend of soul music. The music policy is across the board and the DJ's we have selected are not afraid to mix it up a little from the normal. Yes, you will get all of your favourites over the weekend but also some new, rare and fresh tunes to your ears!   

Due to the covid pandemic most of the hotel rooms at Legacy Victoria Hotel have already SOLD OUT as they have been carried over from last years cancelled event. You can check with the hotel directly on Tel: 01637 872255 (please quote soul on wax) when booking. Newquay offers lots of alternative accommodation close to the event, the closest hotels are the Griffin Inn, Travelodge - Newquay Sea Front, Premier Inn Newquay (Seafront) hotel and the Best Western. There are also hundreds of B&B's in Newquay offering prices to suit all budgets.

Event tickets cost just £30 per person for the whole weekend and are not included in hotel room deals.  Special drink deals will also be on offer from the hotel over the weekend event. DJ Line up includes Nige Brown, Ted Massey, Matt Trowbridge, Mark Sargeant, Neil Self, Paul Garland, Dean Carr, Jo March, Kieron Taz Robathan, Dave Warr, Tom Yule, Paul Rockey, Sid Pratt, Caroline Dann, Plymouth Dave, Richard Brown, Sue Playfair, Chris Stretch and Mark Finch.

The event start time is Friday at 6 pm with a soul night until 2 am. Saturday features an all-dayer from 12 pm until 3 am and Sunday is our goodbye party from 1 pm until 10 pm.
