Swinton Palais Big Boxing Day All Nighter

So looking forward to my regular fix of Swinton.  Traditional nighter venue,  dark and seedy , fantastic DJs with geat music almost guaranteed with something  for everyone what more do you want .

IMPORTANT PLEASE READ CAREFULLY AND SHARE,  
We Wish to confirm that 
The Swinton PalaisBoxing day All Nighter 
WILL BE GOING AHEAD AS PLANNED ON Boxing Day the 26th December.

AS A RESPONSIBLE MEMBERS CLUB THE SAFETY AND WELL-BEING OF OUR PATRONS IS OF PARAMOUNT IMPORTANCE TO US ALL AS WELL THE ENJOYMENT OF THE EVENT AND CONFORMING WITH CURRENT GOVERNMENT COVID REGULATIONS  CONCERNING CONDITIONS FOR ENTRY TO THE EVENT SO I WILL TRY AND LIST THOSE AS WE SEE THEM AS OF 21/12/2021. In as simple a way as possible.

Following on from ‘Plan B’ passing through parliament, we are following Government guidance and you will now need to show either the NHS Covid Pass or proof of negative lateral flow test before entering the venue. SOUNDS COMPLICATED BUT ISNT REALLY,     
Took me   2 min  Name  address  Date of birth doctors surgery and didn’t even have my NHS No.    let’s you book appointments .repeat prescriptions and get a COVID pass   Was honestly Piss easy !

LATERAL FLOW TESTS 

For proof of negative lateral flow test, you can either use an at-home test kit or go to a community testing facility. Tests must be taken within 48 hours of the gig and you will get a result within 30 minutes. 
The result needs to be registered on the NHS website and you will need to show the email or text received from NHS on the door. 

FROM THE LINK BELOW YOU CAN EVEN REGISTER LATERAL FLOW TEST RESULTS WITHOUT THE NHS APP AND GET A PROOF OF RESULT PASS Email THAT LASTS 72 hours

FOR PEOPLE WHO DO NOT USE A PHONE OR SMART DEVICE  A PAPER PRINTOUT OF LATERAL FLOW TEST RESULTS AND COVID PASS STATUS CAN BE ACCEPTED  BUT MUST BE REGISTERED WITH AND DOWNLOADED FROM THE NHS APP  please read the lateral flow guidelines to find out how to do this .

Please do not bring your home test strips or vaccine cards to the venue as the government have confirmed that neither of these can be accepted as proof of Covid status.

FACE COVERINGS

The face covering guidance advises that the below settings  which covers SWINTON PALAIS are exempt from wearing a face covering because it would not be practical to do so:

* gyms and exercise facilities (including dance studios)
* nightclubs, dance halls and discotheques

Customers, visitors or staff may choose to wear face coverings in these settings and businesses cannot prevent staff, visitors or customers from wearing a face covering in these settings if they choose to wear one, and it is an offence to do so.

Face coverings are also not required in premises or a part of a premises where the main activity is eating, drinking, exercising or dancing. 

This might include venues being used to host wedding receptions or some music events, pubs, bars and nightclubs. This is because it is not practical for people to wear a face covering when eating or drinking, and it is not recommended that face coverings are worn when undertaking strenuous activity, including exercising and dancing.

As such, we cannot force you to wear a face mask, however we would still recommend wearing them whilst walking around the venue if you are able to, as this will help prevent the risk of spreading infection.

A few other points - 
On entry you may be asked to be temperature screened  with a non contact thermometer.
* SWINTON GRAND PALAIS staff will wear masks
* Please continue to wash your hands regularly for at least 20 seconds
* Additional hand sanitiser is available around the building 
* We have increased cleaning
* Be considerate to others Use a common sense approach, in that we expect anyone showing any symptoms of COVID  to act responsibly and not attend.

Whilst we sympathise with all views, please remember we have not made these rules and the pandemic/Covid-19 is something that we all have to live with.

These restrictions have been approved in parliament by MPs on 14th December 2021. If you do not like the restrictions or rules, please contact your MP. We simply have to follow the rules and cannot risk getting shut down.
