About The Event

We're back ! featuring 6 rooms of Soul ! 

The 14th Bridlington Northern and Modern Soul weekender re-arranged date from June 2020 to 25th - 27th June 2021

At the time of writing, we think things will be OK projecting forwards 11 months! we know may of you are in possession of tickets already for Bridlington #14 from 2020 which was cancelled due to the Corona Virus Pandemic.

We are working closely with The Spa management and EYEvents to ensure the safe running of the event.

As responsible promoters, we must reiterate our mission statement "That the safety of our customers, friends, staff and everyone connected with the smooth and safe running of our events is our NUMBER ONE PRIORITY" .

Please note that due to Corona Virus all our up and coming promotions are cancelled until the June 2021 Weekender.

We shall continue to watch and follow Government Guidelines on the safety whilst running our events.

We would like to thank you all for your continued support and understanding during these unprecedented and uncertain times we currently are facing.

Our scheduled weekender at Scarborough Spa has also been re-arranged for October 22nd to 24th 2021 (see gig guide).

Tickets for the Bridlington Weekender are available priced at £30.00 each. All current 2020 Bridlington Weekender tickets are valid for the 2021 event. As we have already printed 2,200 tickets these will remain on sale until sold out. We shall then reassess what limit we put on the event, if and when, things get better ! If you're planning to come PLEASE ensure you have purchased tickets in advance asap. We have had a rush on tickets during June & July and had to re-stock many sellers already.

“The ECSC are optimistic that the Bridlington Weekender will be on following the government announcement on Monday.”

Bridlington Spa Soul Weekender, is planned to go ahead on the Weekend of 25 th June 2021 following the government announced it plans to lift all Covid restrictions on 21st June.

The ECSC are waiting to get final confirmation to go ahead and run the event once the authorities have had their meetings.

When we get the green light we anticipate a huge demand for the remaining tickets.

IMPORTANT!

This event will be Advance Ticket Only.

Managed to get some digs. Two miles from the Spa but better than nothing. My mate also managed to get us 3 tickets from a guy at Hull Soul Club.

So thank you for your offer for tickets but we are good thank you.

Well it looks like the Brid weekender is going ahead 25th to 27 th June 2021,  provided everyone in the UK sticks to the rules and the "Post Covid road map" is rolled out as planned.

In the unlikely event the weekender is cancelled by a third party and doesn’t run. Then people with tickets will then either be able to get a full refund or Roll them over to 2022.

IMPORTANT
We are hopeful the Weekender will take place  as planned. All tickets with the 2020 date are valid. However, if you have 2020 tickets and you don’t want to attend the replacement 2021 Weekender, for what ever reason, YOU MUST RETURN THEM TO YOUR POINT OF SALE FOR A FULL REFUND . This has to be done by 21st APRIL 2021.
These tickets can not be exchanged for 2022 tickets.
This is to ensure the ticket system will be clear for 2022.

As yet, we are selling the remaining stocks of 2020 tickets in both ours and our agents hands.
If you have tickets held at agents PLEASE CONTACT THEM ASAP Agents have been instructed not to hold tickets for anyone after the end of March .

There will also be major changes to access the venue.

You will need a FULL WEEKEND TICKET to access the building Main door.

These tickets MUST be purchased in advance.

There will be NO TICKET PICK UPS OR CASH SALES ON THE DOOR.
No Ticket - No Entry

THERE WILL BE STRINGENT WRISTBAND CHECKS, to prevent non-payers accessing the Weekender.

As above there will be
NO REFUNDING TICKETS after 21st April 2021.  We will not be refunding any 2020 tickets after this date.
Nor can tickets be swapped for next year’s 2022 event or cash refunds issued on the door.

Due to unprecedented demand we are anticipating an early sell out.

In only 15, yes 15 weeks, Bridlington Spa Soul Weekender, all being well, will be underway. In thirteen (an unlucky number?) weeks soulies will begin to gather in Bridlington for the 1st weekend after been "released from lockdown"! It will be unlucky for some, as you must purchase a re-event ticket, as there will be "No" paying on the door or purchasing tickets at the event!! Just a quick shout out to see if any of you can help out a friend of mine.
He's looking for a single room or a double that is supplemented for the weekend.

He used to stop with friends in Brid but they have now moved elsewhere.

In twelve weeks time we will be sprucing our selfs up while listening to John Kane on the radio for the Saturday Evening of the Bridlington Spa Soul Weekender. Where there are six rooms of soul music to suit everyones taste. But, to enjoy this "Apsolutley Fabulous" event you will need to purchase a ticket in advance as NO tickets are available at the event! Due to last year's event being cancelled I forgot that I had already got tickets. So  I have two spare tickets for Bridlington. If anyone wants them for £50 please pm me.

A quick up date

All is looking good at the moment  for the Weekender

We are meeting with all the powers that be on the 18th May If the Government roadmap is still on course, we are up and running.

However we have already initiated plans for entry checks, ticket exchange etc, which are slightly different to previous years.

A quick reminder, to attend this event you MUST have a valid Ticket,  There will be No Cash Sales or ticket "pick ups" on the door.
