Niyah West is a New York-based DJ born and raised in central New Jersey. She has filled dancefloors near and far with her pumping house sets and electrifying genre-bending. She believes that sharing moments on the dancefloor allows space for learning, trying something new and a time to connect back to ourselves. This selection has truly been a journey of reviving New Jersey's rich history in house music. half of the selections are records that came from Niyah's family during their club Zanzibar days. The other half are rare records highlighting the early pioneering of Jersey Sound in Newark, NJ & Other Jersey-based record labels. ------------
