Over the years one of the most notable interviews that have had the pleasure to feature here on Soul Source has to be the interview with Ernie Johnson (one half of Eddie & Ernie ) by Arizona music historian John Dixon way back in October 2004. The interview certainly made a mark as it brought into full focus the struggles that some who were responsible for making this great music, faced in the 21st century.

As reported last week a headstone dedication ceremony was held in Phoenix where a bronze headstone was placed on Ernie Johnson's grave, the ceremony was followed by the first public showing of this interview.

Full deserved credit to John Dixon, for his efforts over the 15 years. You could say that he has made sure that the 'original' tag line that accompanied the first published interview has been reached...
