Three new tip top 45 releases from Kent
LATEST 3 KENT SINGLES - NOW AVAILABLE
TOWN 135
Tell Me Baby - KARMELLO BROOKS / I’ll Never Stop Loving You - CARLA THOMAS
At last a UK release for this massively in-demand captivating dancer. It was an unusual release for the jazz label Milestone but Karmello does have a cool sensuous voice and her self-written song has slowly built into a monster over the past 10 years. Carla Thomas’ Kent classic was recently deleted so it HAD to be made available again. Records like this are too precious to ignore.

Country Girl aka Home At Last - LITTLE WILLIE JOHN / I Need Someone - LITTLE WILLIE JOHN
The CD sensation of 2008 yields two 60s soul dance masterpieces that were crying out for a vinyl press. ‘Home At Last’ is the most infectious super-tempo rhythm’n’soul played out for the last couple of decades, while the classic Northern soul flip has HB Barnum’s arrangements written all over it.
CITY 012
Let’s Talk It Over - SPENCER WIGGINS / Love Attack - SPENCER WIGGINS
We finally have an official vinyl 7-inch of Spencer Wiggins’ ‘Let’s Talk It Over’. The two previous (unofficial) pressings have long since disappeared and the record continues to pack dancefloors. We’ve taken the opportunity to put his fabulous up-tempo version of the James Carr ballad ‘Love Attack’ on the flip.
