Sam Dees - Demos & Masters - Kent - Out Now

Sam Dees - Demos & Masters - Kent - Out Now magazine cover

Thought members might like to know about a great compilation, just out on Ace / Kent, of Sam Dees 1970's Demos & Masters, most of these previously unreleased.

Take a listen to a handful of clips...

And then go and pop it in your basket over at Ace / Kent...

Enjoy!

Hi Sean,

Grabbed this yesterday assuming it was just out but noticed Amazon indicated release date of something like September 2014! I was intrigued. ....

It is a new release this week isn't it?

Cheers,

Mark R

Hi Mark September 14 was probably an early release date, most projects get delayed a bit, it was released last Monday. Ady

Great artist. Ridiculously under rated and under recorded.

Well done Ace/Kent for getting this material out there.

Hi there, sadly not. He's gone very quiet these past few years.

Most doubt he'll ever tour again.

The songwriter supreme, and has singing isn't far behind, reminds me of a brilliant night at the Jazz Cafe.

"Gimme little action" - very much in the same vein as "Touch me with your love" to my ears.  :D

Just a bit better than Sylvia's version on Vibration...  :P

did he ever record a version of this sean?

I haven't heard one Sean.

It's a really great record.

Common enough on 12" but I've always seen it as pretty scarce and always quite pricey for a major label 80's 45.

Still, worth every penny for the quality mate!

Your ears don't fail you JB.

Both songs written in a partnership with one Arlinda Whitehead.

Sitting on a train in the quiet zone chillin out, this is a superb compilation.  I might just go back and forth a couple of times.
