 More very sad news- remember  dancing to Edward's great  'Baby,Don't You Weep' many times in younger days.Wish we could  all dance to it somewhere tonight.As Rick said above,condolences to Edward's family and friends-hope they knew how much his records were loved here in the UK and worldwide

Well August 2020 is becoming a real awful month for soul music.

Just got some incredibly sad news from Melvin Davis. Detroit soul singer Edward Hamilton passed away today. He was an incredibly kind and gentle man. He will be terribly missed. We'll ensure his music lives on
