Saw it in Mansfield a few years ago.

Small cast but a nice story line and some great music used for the sound track.

Seemed to hear Rita & the Tiara played out a lot more around this time which may have been due to it being included in the play.

The theatre was rammed, which gave the whole thing a brilliant atmosphere.

Would definitely go to see it if it has a rerun.

Went to see it twice....first at Greenwich in London....then the last performance at Coventry...followed by a soul night....to celebrate the end performance...was brilliant..and still the best production..about the scene..captured it too a tee..would luv it ...if it ever came back to the theatre again......xxxxx

Yes, quite a few saw themselves when they came to see it. I paid royalties to Granada for every minute i used and it was a lot! Editing a short documentary that was made at the time about the making of the play and I also have the FULL play on dvd and am doing a short edit for the site....Shoul be up in about 10 days..best P
