Martin Freeman & Eddie Piller Present Soul On The Corner

Martin Freeman & Eddie Piller Present Soul On The Corner magazine cover

Here's word about an upcoming release from Acid Jazz which may be of interest here on Soul Source. Last year saw  Acid Jazz pushing out 'Jazz On The Corner'  which was basically a comp album of Jazz tracks selected by Martin Freeman teaming up with Eddie Piller. This year see's a repeat of the format but this time the focus is on soul with the title being... 'Soul On The Corner'. Due out the beginning of May in double Cd/Lp and mp3 formats, info and preview follows below...

Blurb
Compiled from the pair’s personal favourites, be it hearing on the radio, word of mouth or Dj-ing – Soul On The Corner represents the entire gamut of soul from the sixties and seventies right up to the present as illustrated by the likes of Tommy McGhee and the Acid Jazz recent signee Laville.

Martin Freeman knows his Soul music. He did a terrific show on R2 years ago when he played some tip top stuff.
