Lost Vinyl Gems Of The 60's Episode 3 - Now Online

Lost Vinyl Gems Of The 60's Episode 3 - Now Online magazine cover

NEW EPISODE NOW ONLINE

Possibly the last episode in this series, this time we're looking at UK 60's 45's, some US imports, and a selection of Ska, Rocksteady and Reggae singles. And I managed not to swear for the entire 54 minutes!

Featured records include John Dankworth Orchestra, Danny Williams, The Dennisons, Kiki Dee, Marie Knight, Honey Boy Martin, The Uniques, The Ethiopians, Shorty The President, Alton Ellis, The Pageants, Joanie Sommers, Jan Bradley, loads more - 54 minutes running time. All unscripted and unrehearsed as always.

Hope you enjoy it.

Pete

Glad I'm finishing work at 11.15am today - can get home and watch this (no streaming, or access to video/podcast sites at work :-( )

The last couple have been great, very enjoyable and informative - looking forward to no.3!

Pete, you did mention this could well be the last one with more details to follow.... so?.....

Well I've stopped buying Paul, this is why I was selling all the British this week, to pay of my credit cards. Then again, I"ve always got tons of records, I suppose I could do more. Think you'll enjoy this one.

The boxes came from Homebase mate, £9.99 each - perfect size but not mega-tough.

Got your email, will sort over weekend and send address.

So Johnny Dankworths / Beefeaters was the first record played on radio 1 not Flowers in the Rain!

I could actually check that as I've got the first 90 minutes of Radio 1's first broadcast, it's absolutely fascinating, especially as we only ever hear the first minute usually
