Emma Noble - Table Dancers - New Single Out Now

Emma Noble - Table Dancers - New Single Out Now magazine cover

Just been passed on details of a new release from Emma Noble, whose last release went down rather well with some.

It looks like a digital release right now from Cosmos Music with an ep to follow at the end of the month, here's the press blurb...

UK Soul DJ, Emma Noble, releases new song ’Table Dancers’

British singer/songwriter and DJ Emma Noble debuted in the lockdown Summer of 2020 with her first single “No Turning Back”. For her second single, Noble made a bold move, taking on a rare Marvin Gaye track “Woman of The World'' because of its relevant and important lyrical theme about female empowerment.

Both Noble’s previous releases were enthusiastically embraced by the British soul scene and gained support from many well-known radio personalities such as Craig Charles, Lauren Lavern, Tony Blackburn, Norman Jay MBE, Gary Crowley, Robert Elms & Eddie Piller.

Now comes the release of Noble's muchly anticipated next single 'Table Dancers' - an original composition about one of her favourite hobbies; dancing on tables, she shouldn't be dancing on. Set for release on November 6th.

“Table Dancers' is the beat driven, fast paced track, written solely to make you dance and let loose... (preferably on tables), Emma says, it’s all about encouraging people to embrace their inner rascal.”

Her EP will follow on November 27th featuring all 3 tracks, plus, remixes by Smoove (of Smoove & Turrell), Emma Noble

I may be at odds here, but I get no soul at all in her voice.

Not just the voice but the backing track as well.  It’s basically a novelty pop record a la girls aloud etc etc

Not even going to comment on the song or delivery, and i have never heard of the singer, but i would have a good bet she has a private school background. Gone are the days when somebody makes it from a working class background. I really hope iam proved wrong, but that voice does not have any experience of hardship and graft, unlike someone like Duffy had.  Please please prove me wrong.

For what it's worth which ain't much I like Ms Noble's voice and think it's a pretty decent record.

She's part of the DJ unit Noble & Heath who entertained us royally last year.

Oh and harrythedog I never rated Duffy.

Just found shes on Lack of Afro single flip side to Joss Stone-take you home-Fires Glow-it aint that good either-3 songs now where she mentions drinking, is she sponsored by Bass? She did well on Woman of the World, after that, anybody's guess. Miss as well as the latest one.

It's not really a tune for this board and it's inhabitants, a quick glance at the DJs supporting the track should tell you that. Being polite I guess.

I quite like the theme tune to Toast of Tinseltown she did with Matt Berry.

All a bit of fun really and not to be taken too seriously and Bellender Bojangles agrees with me and Snorky on that point.

I think Emma's first single was her best, and because of when it was released, mid covid lockdown, reminds me of that time, I was religiously listing to Eddie Pillars show on a Thursday, I still do, and I have to say his show and that track were a life line to normality...

We shouldn’t be too harsh on Emma's music, sure it's poppy, but I can highlight far worse... good luck to her, this track isnt for me, but I hope it sells bucket loads...
