Detroit Sounds Of Friction 45 Coming Soon

Detroit Sounds Of Friction 45 Coming Soon magazine cover

Crates Of Soul Records are pleased to present another limited edition 45 in our quest to bring you rare and out of reach musical delicacies.

Detroit Sounds Of Friction - I ' m Leaving You / Stop Him Girl ( CS 003 )

The original 1974 single on Heavy Sound Inc out of Louisville, Kentucky is a highly coveted crown jewel amongst collectors. Upon it's release the 45 went nowhere following poor distribution.

The original 45 has been frustratingly unavailable in any quantity to satisfy eager soul collectors worldwide.

If, and when the 45 comes to market they are expensive and highly desirable.

Popsike, and Collectors Frenzy sales history validate it's undoubted rarity.

The last recorded sale ( Feb, 2017 ) @ $2,247 dollars.

Detroit Sounds Of Friction left one solitary recording and no master tapes or original files exist following a burglary at Garrett Tilford's apartment.

Only ever pressed in a small quantity according to Garrett so instead of wasting time attempting to locate the elusive first press grab your hands on the limited edition of 250 units.

Due out on 5th September this 45 will satisfy those who have an insatiable thirst for crossover soul .

To pre - order please email to reserve so we have your details on file for invoicing when the 45 lands. Limited to one per customer.

Loved this ever since Greety played it to me on Heavy Sounds.  What will the quality be like. Assume it’s pressed from the original vinyl as no master tapes available?
