Jimmy James was the stand in for the late Edwin Starr and he did not disappoint playing all his classic songs plus a medley of club soul 60`s style and gave us a twenty minute encore leaving the audience breathless

All the local jox played good spots and the Edwin Starr tribute spot by Dougie Hall gave us 10 classic Edwin records from “I have faith in you” to “my weakness is you”. I won’t mention them all but it was worthwhile that we raised over three thousand pounds towards Uk cancer research.
