Sleepless Nights Soul Club Dublin
Leaving Soul Heaven (Mono) early evening we arrive to find equipment in wrong place, much dismantling and rewiring later (cheers Joe M) and ensuring needles are not going to jump we are ready.
Doyles top room is a small wooden floored venue with a capacity of around 100 though it has a side room and bar for any overspill, a feel good Dublin atmosphere awaits you (bar till 2am).
After the recent success of the Paul Davis All-nighter featuring Carl Willingham (and most of these local players), an air of optimism is starting to creep into the small Dublin scene. To build the scene our policy to begin with is mainly Classics/Motown a revival night feel if you will. The crowd is a mix of youth and knowledgeable experience (though not as old as me)
