Newport Soul Nite

Golden Eye Soul Club- Walkabout Bar, Bridge St, Newport, Wales. I was one of the DJs at this soul nite on Saturday 22nd January. The nite was run by Dan, Simon and Mike and a great venue it was with a good wooden dancefloor and well run bar. The music was tops spun by Dan, Simon,Vince Ayres, Andy Hutchins and myself. Music ranged from across the board such as Soul Bros Incorporated, Righteous Bros, Lou Pride, Jackie Beavers and Bobby Kline. Everybody seemed to have a good time but unfortunatly numbers were low due to the weather, which was too white for my liking! What Id say to you soulies, look out for the next one here as it is well worth the trip! Keep The Faith- Matt (Trowbridge)
