Shaun Robbins & Bob 'the Crate' Smith are the two presenters of 'Solar Radio's *Sunday Soul Selection* ... real 'strings & things' for a Sunday ... !
The Show has been such a success that Soul Brother Records have released in effect, The Best Of The Sunday Soul Selection on CD which is one of their all-time best sellers.
Plus, you can now buy Sunday Soul Selection T-shirts in store ... !
Shaun & Bob have DJ'ed around the Country inc. The Orwell, The Birmingham Hilton Luxury Soul Weekender, The North West Soul Festival, amongst others ...
Bob, from Brighton Town has been a Promoter, Collector, Record Dealer & DJ since the birth of the 70's Modern Soul scene down South ...
Paul Thrower, also a regular guest on the Sunday Soul Selection, is one of *the* scene's personalities ... & the chances of bumping into Paul at the various Soul Weekenders, the length & breath of the Country, inc. abroad are very high ... ! Needless to say, Paul is never at home ... ! As a Punter since day numero Paul has built up a wonderful 70s Modern Soul collection & is one of the regular jocks @ the very popular Chi-Soul All-dayers on the South Coast.
Shaun's the main presenter of the Radio Show which incs. regular quality guests, such as Ivor Jones, Steve Plumb, Togetherness Sean O'Connor, Brian Goucher, Eddie Hubbard ... etc. & has become one of Solar Radio's flagship shows ... ! Shaun, Paul and Bob will be joined by Mr Brett Franklin, who if my memory serves me right Brett missed only one All-nighter in the two years we where there.
