Micky Cruise - Memorial Fund Raiser

Micky Cruise - Memorial Fund Raiser magazine cover

The date for the Fund Raiser Memorial Day to remember Micky and raise money for The Psoriasis Society has now been confirmed. Sunday 25th May at the Orrell in Wigan. There is a fine selection of DJ's who will be spinning quality tunes throughout the day in his memory with some fabulous raffle prizes which have been kindly donated by some of the Soul Scenes prolific DJ/Collector/Promoter/Dealer's in the UK.

Final line up and admission to be confirmed very soon. Hope lots of you can make it. I'm in no doubt that it will be a magic day to raise a glass to a man who can never be replaced. A true character and a one off in every way.

Andy Garside and Chris Waterman will keep you posted.

the clip below from Amlwch 2006 - gives an rough 90 secs silhouette view of Mickey in the foreground with the Kings of Soul

while dark and maybe hard to make out and he does move in and out of the view, it does to me capture his ethos

Thank you Julie for Posting this. I'm sure it will be a great Day to remember Micky who I know lots of people still miss seeing and being in his company. It's also a good charity to share with as Micky suffered for a long time with Psoriasis and really felt for anyone else who had it, He will be well proud... Everyone Welcome Thanks Annie xx

What Can I say, The Memorial turned out to be a brilliant Day and Night with everyone that Micky loved. The Turn out was great, the DJing was great with Great music played from start to finish everyone enjoyed them selves and have even asked if there will be future events the same.. to top it all there was a tremendous amount made and donated to The Psoriasis Society in total £1491.45p Many thanks to Everyone who helped make this event happen. What a great way to Remember My loving Partner Michael Edward Cruise

Annie xx
