Hideaway Review 29-03-03, Playlist and review of club
For those who haven’t checked out The Hideaway yet, the club is now firmly established in Manchester as the place to hear truly authentic "Mod" sounds.
DJ's on Saturday (29 March) included regulars Neil Henderson, Mike Warburton and Paul Welsby , plus guest spinners –Mark Ellis and Dennis. They played some great 60’s soul and RnB (Mike throwing in a little ska / bluebeat for good measure) to an eclectic and incredibly friendly crowd (namely mods, soulies, and the odd rockabilly... hi Vince!).
If you like your RnB deep and your beer cheap, I couldn’t recommend a better place to go.
